Since re-opening, under new management, in May of 2005 ... The "Fort Laramie American Grill & Restaurant" serves an average of 10,000 hungry-patrons each year, and this is done in a small town with approximately 250 residents.

We are "open year-round," Wednesday through Saturday, from 9:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M., Sunday until 6:00 P.M., and are usually closed on Monday and Tuesday.

A vast majority of our regular clientele usually comes from the surrounding nearby cities and towns, up to 50-miles away, with many of them planning reservations several times each week.

Hungry, new visitors and tourists to "The Fort Laramie National Historic Site" generally do stop in and enjoy a delicious meal, either inside the air-conditioned facility or outside under our screened-in, covered porch-area, with fans.

Wonderfully prepared "homemade meals" are customarily offered and served on a regular basis, as well as, "homemade" soups, desserts, cakes, pies, donuts and pastries.

The F.L.A.G.'s (as it is affectionately called) regular menu includes; buffalo, beef, poultry, pork, fish and seafood menu-items, and still offers many "off-menu-specials" as well.

Although not usually required, reservations are highly suggested ... To avoid waiting for a table!

The F.L.A.G. also hosts a special "by reservation only" dinner on the last Sunday of each month, at 6:00 P.M. which, over the years, has become a very popular local event ... And the "dinner-special" that is offered varies from their regular menu selections.

The F.L.A.G. features seasonal specials, such as; "old fashioned" ice cream during the summertime for just: 75-Cents A Scoop, and "daily-lunchtime-specials" during the wintertime are offered from 11:30 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. for only: $5.00, on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

The F.L.A.G. assists in serving many, various "Chartered Tour Bus Companies" taking people to "The Fort Laramie National Historic Site" by preparing box-lunches for them.

Our small "hometown restaurant" is not quite like your typical local restaurant ... We generally offer F R E E souvenirs to all "first-time-visitors" to our restaurant, and include some really great and various F R E E entertainment, while you dine.
